Hi! My name is Maeve (pronounced May-v), and I’m a 22-year-old Catholic artist.
Coming from a creative family, art has always been part of my life. I've been painting for as long as I can remember, but it wasn't until January 2025 that I discovered my love for painting the saints.
What began as a fun creative outlet quickly grew into a love for saints and their stories. I found myself especially inspired by the fact that the saints were ordinary people, each with their own personalities, circumstances, talents, and struggles, whom God sent out into the world in completely different ways.
Each was given unique gifts that they used to glorify God throughout their lives. Through their example, I became inspired to pursue my lifelong love of art.
My goal is to create art that celebrates the beauty of God’s creation. Whether that is painting the saints, landscapes, or something from a picture in my camera roll. The Lord gives us an abundance of beauty to witness in our lives, it’s up to us to have the eyes to see it.

A few fun things about me!
1. I love The Lord of the Rings. If I could sit down with anyone in history and just have a chat with them, it would be Tolkien. I’m fascinated by the way his brain works and the way he created such an intricate and beautiful world. I never get tired of learning more about everything he created because there is always something new to uncover.
2. My absolute favorite songs ever are Old Note by Lisa O’Neill, Mountains O’Mourne (Don McClean version), Castles in the Air by Don McClean and The Riddle by Five for Fighting!
3. My favorite band is an Irish band called Amble. They have incredible writing and storytelling in their songs and I could probably go on and on about how much I love their music. My favorite songs of theirs are Swan Song and Of Land and Sea! But I honestly can’t skip any of them haha.
4. I have two part time jobs apart from the business. They both have something to do with either art, teaching, or the Church so my days are very fun and full! It's a very fulfilling time as I get the opportunity to gain experience in different avenues of my life.
5. I recently discovered that I LOVE learning languages. It’s become a fun hobby of mine, I’m currently learning two! I also try to learn the guitar and piano but it just ends up being me messing around for fun.
